8. Install Covers|Neck and shoulders

08-1 Install top shoulder plates

Required Parts:
C11 Shoulder plates (top) x2
Bag C, Bag D of Box Z (Install on either side)

Install shoulder plates

  1. Snap【C11 Shoulder Plate (top)】 into right shoulder.
  2. Snap【C11 Shoulder Plate (top)】 into left shoulder.
    ⚠️ Note! If you are painting your robot, paint top plates before installing for best results. Avoid paint accumulation on snap clips.

08-2 Install neck cover

Required Parts:
C08 Neck cover (front) x1 C09 Neck cover (back) x1 Screw No. 9 (M2_L6 MM20060) x2
Bag G of Box Z
Bag G of Box Z
Box of screws

Install neck cover

  1. Locate large cables at rear of【C08 Neck Cover (back)】 and slide cover over back side of【Neck Joint】as shown.
    ⚠️ Note! Arrange connection cables as shown and ensure that they are not pinched between parts.
  2. Insert posts of【C08 Neck Cover (front)】 into matching holes in neck and connect to【C09 Neck Cover (back)】.
  3. Fasten two covers together with 2 pieces 【Screw No. 9 (M2_L6 MM20060)】.⚠️ Note! Ensure that no cables are pinched and that neck moves freely before proceeding.

08-3 Install top body cover

Required Parts:
C06 Top body plate x1
Box Y

Install top body cover

  1. Pass【Neck Joint】 and【Connection Cables】 through hole in【C06 Top Body Plate】. It’s a tight fit; avoid pinching cables and move side to side until the cover slides down.

  2. Insert【M3 PIR Sensor Module】 into the back side of opening in 【C06 Top Body Plate】. Align clips with slots on board and push until fully engaged.
    ⚠️ Note! Slight force is required to press the clips into the board. Apply pressure gradually and evenly on both sides to avoid cracking or breaking the PIR sensor board.

Top body cover installation finished!

Install covers – neck and shoulders FINISHED!
