Startup Process and Environment Preparation

Before you begin interacting with the robot, you need to perform the following steps.

Prepare the robot and environment

Get enough space for the robot to move around freely, and do not place it on the edge of a table or near water.

Check the robot’s battery level. We recommend that you fully charge the battery before using the robot to maximize your experience!

👉 If the robot is off, press the power button on the top of the robot’s head and the battery
level will be shown onscreen.

Boot up the system

Press and hold the Home button on the top of the robot’s head for 3 seconds until the
NUWA LOGO and the startup animation appear onscreen.

Connect to Wi-Fi

Before using the robot, ensure it is connected to the internet.

⚠ If you cannot find your network, tap the “?” button below to switch the network region.

Country/Region & Languages

Select the service region for the robot based on your location. You can also change the system language on this page.

⚠ Once the service region is selected, it cannot be changed, even after resetting the robot.

Date and Time

Set the time zone and current time, then tap “Next” to proceed.

User Agreement and Privacy Policy

Please review the User Agreement and Privacy Policy carefully, then check the box to agree.

Sign in with a Personal Account or Team Account (Business/School)

On this page, you can choose to sign in with either a “Personal Account” or a “Team Account.”

1. Personal Account

An email address (the same account can also be used to log in to the CodeLab and related NUWA web services)
A mobile number
A Google account

2. Team Account
Use a 16-digit product key to sign in. This key is required to activate the Robot Management System (RMS). For more details, refer to the RMS product key documentation.
