Summary: How to turn the robot on and off.

Activate the robot

Press and hold the power button on the top of the robot’s head until you see the NUWA ROBOTICS logo appear on the screen.
If the startup is successful, the logo will remain on the screen until an animation of the robot’s pet face appears.

Shutting down the robot

Press and hold the power button on the top of the robot’s head for 3 seconds until the power option pops up. Select ‘Shutdown’ to turn off the robot.
If the power option does not appear due to a system failure, you can try to long press the power button on the top of the robot for more than 10 seconds to force the robot to shut down.

Reducing the robot’s power consumption

When the robot’s screen is on, the standby time can last up to 7 or 8 hours.
If you want to save power, long press the main screen button and select ‘Do Not Disturb’. Or, open the drop-down menu to disable ‘Active Dialogue’, ‘Motion’ and other functions.

⚠ If you do not use the robot for a long time, please turn the power off and store it in a dry environment. It is recommended that you charge the robot at least once every three months to keep the battery healthy.
